The brain does not have to work hard when you stick to routines. So, how can we  help our brains to stay alive ? We need to stimulate it  often. When we  break routines,  eg learn to play a game, or acquire a new  skill,  the brain creates new connections.
It is important to expose ourselves to change. Let us move out of our comfort zone. Research has proved that intellectual activity, curiosity and desire to learn slows down degeneration.
Mindful living is  a practical way to handle stress. It's a gradual process of training our body and mind . Let us learn this lesson through covid times and learn to lead better lives.
The book Ikigai talks about the anti ageing secrets of the Japanese. Once we identify our " IKIGAI" life becomes more meaningful and purposeful.
Find your ikigai and stay busy even when there is no need for you to work.  That's the secret to long life and happiness .
